Poetry of Lies

Of Lies and Low Deception

In a land where power cloaks the shame,

The guilty rise with hollow claim.

Filthy falsehoods wear the crown,

While truth is twisted, turned down.

I’ve learned to read the face and voice,

To hear what hearts deny by choice.

Each lie they weave, I see it clear—

A tainted tale they dress as dear.

On screens they boast of virtue’s guise,

With hollow words and shallow lies.

But like the Taoist's timeless creed,

Their mouths may speak, yet hearts concede.

Their ignorance, a hollow shield,

In truth’s bright light is soon revealed.

An expert's eye, trained to see,

The depths of each duplicity.

So insulted, yet sharpened more,

Against their lies, I keep my score.

With wisdom honed by each deceit,

I watch their empires incomplete.

For in the end, deception fades,

And truth, though slow, will not degrade.
